Fatal accident claims lives of four gospel Ministers

A devastating road accident along the Ikorodu-Sagamu Expressway in Ogun State has led to the death of four gospel preachers, among them the prominent evangelist Ayodeji David, also known as Kekere Jesu.

Officials from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) reported that the crash was caused by high speed and low visibility, resulting in a collision involving several vehicles. Over 24 fatalities have been recorded from the incident.

Kekere Jesu, renowned for his street evangelism and active presence on social media, was reportedly on his way to a ministry program when the tragic event occurred.

His death has left many in Nigeria’s faith community in deep mourning.

Church leaders and fellow Christians have expressed their grief over the loss, recalling the ministers’ tireless efforts in spreading the gospel.

A senior official from the Christ Apostolic Church described the event as painful, yet encouraged believers to trust in God’s purpose.

Messages of condolence and spiritual encouragement continue to circulate as friends, families, and followers remember the legacies of the departed.

Many have highlighted their impactful outreach to youths and rural communities.

Authorities have reiterated calls for safe driving practices, stressing the dangers of speeding, especially during periods of poor visibility.
