Fuji music icon King Saheed Osupa and rising street-hop star Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, have reached a peaceful resolution regarding their recent disagreement, opting to settle the matter outside of court.
In a move signaling reconciliation, King Osupa referred to the dispute as a family issue, emphasizing that it would be resolved with a father-son approach.
According to a statement from Mallam Yankee, the resolution was achieved after a virtual meeting facilitated by entertainment promoter Kehinde Adegbite, also known as Mallam Yankee, who now manages Portable through his company, Yankee Entertainment.
Mallam Yankee expressed deep appreciation to all who contributed to mending the rift between the two artists.
He particularly acknowledged the efforts of key figures, including Daddy Showkey, Pasuma Wonder, Abu Abel, Bankulli, Dr. Ezekiel Adamu, and others, whose support was crucial in resolving the matter.
Recall that MCC had reported that Portable had earlier been granted bail in the amount of ₦1 million by an Upper Area Court in Ilorin, Kwara State.
The charges against him included criminal defamation, intimidation, inciting public disturbance, and cyberstalking. The court’s ruling also stipulated that his bail be contingent upon providing two sureties with similar financial backing.
