Bobrisky released from prison

Idris Okuneye, known widely as the controversial cross-dresser Bobrisky, has been released from the Kirikiri Correctional Centre after serving a six-month sentence for spraying naira notes at parties.

Bobrisky was sentenced on April 12, 2024, by Justice Abimbola Awogboro, who ordered the imprisonment without the option of a fine.

In a video posted on X on Monday, Bobrisky, appearing with actress Eniola Ajao, expressed his excitement about returning. “I’ve missed you guys so much. I can’t wait to have you guys and give you guys what you have missed,” he said.
