South African President Cyril Ramaphosa will travel to the United States on a working visit scheduled from May 19 to 22, 2025, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations.
This announcement was issued by the Presidency of the Republic of South Africa, Pretoria.
As part of the visit, President Ramaphosa is expected to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday, May 21.
The two leaders will hold discussions on a wide range of topics, including bilateral cooperation, regional developments, and global issues of shared concern.
The Presidency noted that the visit will serve as a significant step toward revitalizing the strategic partnership between South Africa and the United States.
