Police recruitment training begins Saturday, August 10

The Police Service Commission (PSC) announced on Thursday that successful candidates from the 2022 police recruitment exercise are expected to begin training on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at various Police Colleges across the country.

The training period will run from August 10 to August 20.

Ikechukwu Ani, Head of Press and Public Relations, stated that candidates must have confirmed their status on the Police Recruitment Portal (apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng) to report for training.

Only those whose names are on the list provided to the Colleges will be admitted.

The PSC has deactivated the previous Portal, policeservicecommission.cloud, and will use the current Portal for fairness and consistency throughout the recruitment process.

Candidates will receive official messages confirming their training dates and locations.

Specialists will report for training between September 28 and October 10, 2024.

PSC Chairman DIG Hashimu Argungu (rtd) emphasized the importance of adhering to the reporting dates.

The Commission will oversee the candidates’ progress during their training to ensure they are well-prepared to contribute to national security efforts, Ani said.
