Ogun APC Publicity Secretary, Tunde Oladunjoye, passes away

Tunde Oladunjoye, the Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, has died.

Reports indicate that Oladunjoye passed on Friday while receiving medical care at a hospital in the United Kingdom.

Until his passing, he served not only as the APC spokesman in the state but also as a chief consultant to the Ogun State Government.

Reacting to the news, Governor Dapo Abiodun described Oladunjoye’s death as a profound loss to both the party and the state.

The governor, in a statement released on Friday, expressed deep shock and sorrow, saying the news was difficult to accept.

Governor Abiodun referred to Oladunjoye, a former Chairman of Ijebu East Local Government, as a sincere and committed politician who remained steadfast in his beliefs and played a key role within the APC and the state administration.

“It was heartbreaking to hear of the passing of our dedicated, intelligent, and hardworking spokesman and consultant, Tunde Oladunjoye. It’s a painful loss that’s hard to comprehend, but we submit to the will of God,” Abiodun said.

He further praised Oladunjoye’s passion and unwavering dedication, noting that he consistently defended the policies and image of the present administration with exceptional clarity and commitment.

Calling him the most effective spokesperson the Ogun APC has ever had, the governor emphasized that Oladunjoye’s efforts were instrumental to many of the administration’s achievements.

He also highlighted Oladunjoye’s qualities of resilience, integrity, and loyalty, saying these traits greatly contributed to the growth and prominence of the APC in the state.

Governor Abiodun extended his sympathies to Oladunjoye’s family, colleagues in the APC, and everyone who had worked with him, describing him as a good man who will be dearly missed.

“May his soul rest in peace,” he concluded.
