BREAKING: Labour Party Caretaker committee begins NEC meeting in Abuja

The Labour Party’s National Executive Council meeting has begun in Abuja, led by the party’s Caretaker Committee chaired by Senator Nenadi Usman.

The meeting, which is taking place at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, is being attended by notable figures including the party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, and the Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti.

While delivering her opening remarks, Senator Usman called for reconciliation within the party.

She urged members of the former National Working Committee, previously led by Julius Abure, to put aside their differences and support the ongoing efforts to rebuild and reposition the party.
