The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results.
According to the board, more than 75 percent of candidates scored below 200.
As of now, candidates can only access their results through SMS using the phone number they used during registration.
How to Check Your 2025 UTME Result via SMS:
1. On the phone number linked to your UTME registration, send an SMS with the text UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019.
2. Wait for a reply containing your result details.
Key Information to Note:
• Only the registered phone number can be used to check the result.
• Each SMS costs N50.
Possible SMS Responses Include:
• Successful: You’ll receive a message showing your scores in each subject and your total.
• Wrong Number: “This phone number was not used for registration.”
• Result Withheld: “Result Withheld”
• Clarification Needed: “Result withheld pending the upload of clarifications/documents required from you.”
• Candidate Absent: “CANDIDATE ABSENT”
• Registration Cancelled: “CANDIDATE ABSENT WITH REGISTRATION NUMBER ALSO CANCELLED”
• Unauthorized Access: “Invalid Entrance into the Exam Hall”
JAMB has not yet enabled result checking through its official website, so the SMS method remains the only valid way to access your score at the moment.
