Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, has expelled Miss Goddy-Mbakwe Chimamaka Precious for assaulting a lecturer.
A viral video surfaced earlier this week showing the student physically confronting Dr. Chukwudi Okoye from the Department of Theatre and Film Studies.
Reports indicate that she allegedly bit the lecturer and tore his clothes after he disrupted her TikTok video recording.
Following the incident, the university urged calm and referred the matter to its Students’ Disciplinary Committee for investigation.
In an official memo signed by the Acting Registrar, Victor I. Modebelu, with reference number NAU/REG/95b/VOLVII/031, the university confirmed that the Acting Vice-Chancellor approved the recommendation for Miss Precious Chiamaka Goddy-Mbakwe’s expulsion.
