In a tragic turn of events, an unidentified groom passed away on what was supposed to be his wedding day.

The man, believed to be in his fifties, reportedly fell ill a few days before he was set to walk down the aisle with his bride.

The heartbreaking news was shared on Facebook by Samuel Robert, who had been hired for the wedding ceremony.

As monitor by Trend News, he wrote, “Unbelievable things are happening! I was booked for this wedding, which was supposed to take place today.

“Sadly, the groom fell ill a few days ago and passed away on what should have been his wedding day.

“…something I thought only happened in movies.”
