The Federal Government has disbursed a total of N32.8 billion as student loans to beneficiaries across the country.
Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, revealed this during a ministerial briefing in Abuja on Tuesday.
According to Idris, out of the 371,000 students who applied for the loan, at least 192,000 have so far accessed the funds, amounting to N32.8 billion.
He further stated that the beneficiaries are spread across 150 tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
