The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has apprehended 120 individuals in Lagos over their alleged participation in internet-related fraud.
According to a statement shared via the agency’s official social media handle, the suspects include 95 men and 25 women.
The EFCC disclosed that the arrests were carried out by operatives from the Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 on Monday, May 19, 2025, following actionable intelligence and extensive surveillance operations.
During the raid, officials reportedly seized 26 luxury vehicles, assorted expensive jewellery, laptops, smartphones, and a number of documents believed to be linked to the alleged criminal activities.
The commission added that once investigations are concluded, the suspects will face charges in court.
