Man alleges domestic abuse by wife during counselling session

A man has come forward with allegations of domestic abuse by his wife, shared during a counseling session at the Zion Prayer Movement, led by Ebuka Obi.

In a heartfelt testimony, the man described an ongoing issue within their family dynamic. He explained that whenever he disciplined their children by spanking them, his wife would physically attack him in front of the children. He expressed his concern about the negative impact this was having on the kids and requested that any retaliation be delayed until they were not around the children.

Despite his request, the wife reportedly ignored his wishes. “I asked her to wait until we were alone, but she didn’t listen. Now, whenever I punish one of the children, they respond aggressively, having seen her actions,” the man shared.

In a video from the session, the wife appeared visibly upset, even threatening the man as their children attempted to intervene. The exact timing of the video remains unclear.
