Nigerian socialite Bobrisky has disclosed that he has been detained by immigration officers upon his arrival in Nigeria, months after leaving the country for personal reasons.

His announcement sparked reactions from fans, many of whom expressed concern and sought clarity on the situation.
The incident follows his departure from Nigeria in November 2024, a move he previously attributed to the strain of constant public scrutiny and personal challenges.
At the time, he explained that the backlash he faced online, along with pressures from certain security agencies, had affected his well-being, prompting him to seek temporary refuge abroad.
In an earlier Instagram post, he confirmed his decision, saying, “I need to attend to my sanity and my health. Few Nigerian security agencies try everything to frustrate me but naaa, I gat God.”
Bobrisky also recounted an issue he encountered while travelling, revealing that he had to purchase multiple business-class tickets before successfully boarding a flight.
He playfully called on the airline for a refund for the unused tickets, acknowledging that the mishap was beyond their control.
