NDLEA intercepts cocaine embedded in luggage walls

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has intercepted a sophisticated drug smuggling attempt involving cocaine hidden inside the structural layers of suitcases.

Femi Babafemi, the agency’s spokesperson, posted video evidence of the seizure on X.com on Sunday, highlighting the extent to which the traffickers went to disguise the illegal cargo.

According to the NDLEA, the cocaine was surgically concealed with factory-level precision along the inner walls of the luggage.

The posted footage shows NDLEA officers slicing open parts of the suitcases to retrieve the concealed narcotics, underscoring the agency’s continued vigilance in combating drug trafficking.
