JAMB adjusts 2025 mock UTME date to April 10

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has rescheduled the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), shifting it from April 5 to April 10.

This change was announced in the board’s weekly bulletin released in Abuja on Monday.

According to JAMB, the adjustment was made to allow for the completion of necessary preparations and the incorporation of new innovations aimed at improving the examination process.

The decision also accommodates an increase in the number of examination centres.

“The Mock UTME, which was originally planned for Saturday, April 5, 2025, will now take place on Thursday, April 10, 2025, while the main UTME is scheduled to begin on April 25, 2025,” the statement read.

JAMB explained that the revision aligns with international best practices and recent research on examination techniques, ensuring that the mock test effectively serves its purpose.

Candidates are advised to stay updated on the printing of their Mock Notification Slip, which will contain details about their designated examination centres.
