Rapper Blaqbonez reacts to House of Reps’ decision to ban porn sites

Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has expressed his disapproval of the House of Representatives’ recent directive to shut down access to pornographic websites across the country.

Top Newspaper had reported on Tuesday that lawmakers instructed the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to enforce a nationwide ban on adult content.

Reacting on X, Blaqbonez questioned the government’s priorities, implying that the move was unnecessary.

Using popular adult film star Destiny Mira as an example, he argued that adult content provides comfort to many Nigerians during tough times.

“This country is funny. Destiny Mira, who helps us through tough times, and they want to ban her,” he wrote.
