A local vigilante was killed in a gunfight on Friday when bandits clashed with security forces in Dutsin-ma Local Government Area of Katsina State.
The bandits were forced to flee after a fierce gun battle with the police, leaving behind all stolen items, according to a report shared on X (formerly Twitter) by security analyst Bakatsine.
The analyst praised the swift and courageous response of the Dutsin-ma Police Division, commending them for repelling the attackers and recovering the stolen property.
As of now, the Katsina State Police Command has not released an official statement on the incident.
