The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced a slight adjustment to the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) schedule, with the exam now set to begin on April 24 instead of April 25 as earlier planned.
The board’s Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this update in a statement issued on Saturday in Abuja.
He explained that the shift in date was necessary to accommodate essential engagements involving JAMB and some of its partner agencies.

As part of the preparations, candidates are now able to print their examination slips, which include details such as their exam date, centre, time, and other instructions.
Benjamin advised candidates to visit the JAMB portal at www.jamb.gov.ng, click on “2025 UTME Slip Printing,” input their registration number, and print the slip.
He also urged candidates to locate and visit their examination centres a day or two before the scheduled date to avoid delays or confusion.
He assured that no candidate will be posted outside the exam towns they selected during registration.
