Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the North Central geopolitical zone have endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in 2027. The endorsement was made at a zonal stakeholders meeting held at Transcorp Hotel, Abuja, where the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, moved a motion of vote of confidence in President Tinubu’s leadership.
The stakeholders, including governors, senators, and other critical stakeholders, praised President Tinubu’s sterling performance and commitment to national development. They expressed their appreciation for the numerous developmental strides being executed across the North Central zone and commended the President’s inclusive and merit-based approach in appointing sons and daughters of the region into key leadership positions.
The communique issued at the end of the meeting reads in part: “We wholeheartedly endorse President Tinubu to contest for a second term in office as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come 2027, in order to consolidate the gains of his reforms and bring them to full fruition.”
